No jargon. No experience needed.
In this 90-minute session, we will explain what AI is in plain English, show simple examples using ChatGPT, and discuss how AI can be used safely for everyday home, family and general life tasks.
We will also explain the basic differences between popular AI tools, so you can understand why they may give different answers and how to choose what suits you.
This is not a technical session and you do not need any previous AI experience.
You will learn:
What AI is in plain English
What ChatGPT is and how people use it
The basic differences between popular AI tools
Everyday ways AI can help at home, with family tasks, planning, writing and learning
Basic safety, privacy and scam awareness
How to ask better questions and get more useful answers
Duration
90 minutes. Demo plus group discussion.

Nothing required. You may bring a phone or notebook if you like.

Tea, coffee and water available.
Please note: this workshop is held upstairs and is stair access only. There is no lift access. This is an adults-only session.

It is general education only, not legal, financial or medical advice. We will not ask for passwords, and we'll remind everyone not to enter private personal information into AI tools. This is a beginner session, not advanced business training.
